One of the things I had yet to officially experience is the dreaded morning sickness that everyone always cites as the reason they thought they might be pregnant. You’ll find that I’m one of those people who gets excited about things that others overlook – I’m always celebrating small, seemingly insignificant things, especially where others are involved. Ask your dad, it annoys him to no end.

This morning I woke up, took a shower, and then hovered in the bathroom for a good 15 minutes before I felt confident enough to get ready for work.

Gross? Super. Exciting? A little! Finally, just one more piece of proof that you’re really there. That makes it all worth it!*

*Ask me in a few weeks when this becomes a regular thing… my enthusiasm may be less evident.
