It’s been two months since I’ve posted – whoops!

I feel like a lot has happened since we found out we were having a little boy (still so over the moon and we can’t wait to meet you!!) and it’s just been a whirlwind!

Some interesting updates for you…

• We are still going back and forth on your name. I favor Kash, your dad prefers Kolt (both were my choices so it can go either way…) Your uncle Cody has been calling you Kolt, and his “neph-son” which is extremely weird but it will all make sense once you meet him… 😉 Mom and Madisyn call you Kash and I just call you baby boy (sometimes I use Kash just to see if I love it as much as I think I do… I’m not in a rush though! You might be a Kevin Jr., or something completely different. We have time to decide!
• You are getting SO strong. This past weekend we took a mini-road trip to Ellijay, Georgia and spent some time with my dad’s sisters/family. It was really nice – the best part was when Mimi got to feel you move. She put her hand on my belly and I don’t know if you used your elbow or your foot but buddy you wanted her to know you were there! She was SO excited! Your dad also got to feel you move for the first time at night – we were laying down and you were wiggling all over… I finally had him feel you and he thought it was the coolest thing! I feel you moving pretty much ALL of the time. You are VERY active – it makes me giggle. It’s usually when I’m working, driving or trying to fall asleep!
• We decided on a date for the baby shower – November 13! The past few tries at booking places/dates haven’t worked so I’m so glad to have that part over with! At our mini-reunion, Aunt Terri, Aunt Jocelyn, Aunt Jenny, Anna, Jess, Mimi and Lori (and the boys) threw us a surprise baby shower! It was so fun! On the way back from the shooting range, your dad apparently threw a mini-tantrum because he was hungry, so pop pop wouldn’t stop for food because he knew about the shower – it ended up being the funniest story and we re-told it several times.
• I’m back at work and it’s a Monday – of course – but I’m never alone! You’re always here listening and being adorable, and I love that!
• OH! The BEST thing that’s happened in the past few weeks – No more morning sickness!! My doctor FINALLY gave me the good medicine, and I’ve been feeling awesome for the past few weeks! I’m still getting heartburn (so glamorous) but wow, what a difference that makes in my day! I mean – you’re worth every single bit of sickness, but it’s so nice to finally enjoy the pregnancy!
• I have to do the big scary Glucose test soon, and go in for another check up… but other than that, keep up the great work, little man! Love you!
