Well it finally happened – we announced the news about you on Facebook. It’s always true that it’s not official till it’s Facebook official… we’ve had an overwhelming response of love and excitement – people just can’t wait for you!

This past weekend was Memorial Day, and we spent time with your dad’s parents and family out on the water. It was wonderful but wore us out and so yesterday was a time of sleeping and avoiding laundry mountain… but hey, I think we earned it.

You were quite greedy this morning and mom wasn’t feeling good at all on the way to work but I think the apple and hazelnut spread made you happy because now I’m feeling better.

When I posted, I said we are expecting a new member to the crew and we don’t know if you’ll be a little sailor or mermaid but we’re excited either way – and that couldn’t be more true! Everyone at work knows and they’ve been stopping by to hear all about you.

Everyone loves your picture and they say you look just like me – even though you resemble a turtle or a gummy bear. You’re as big as an olive and this weekend I found a little tiny sand dollar that was just your size. 😉
