The shock is still all around me – I find myself in a daze. It’s been one full day and already I’m just over the moon. Who will you be? Will you be fierce and funny, kind and quiet, loyal and dramatic… will you have my eyes? Your dad’s features? So many questions!

Last night, we told your Aunt J – you’ll love her. She’s my twin and I’ve been so blessed to be an aunt to her awesome daughter. She’s great – smart and funny. You’ll love her, and she already took the opportunity to tell me that my stomach looked bigger. Nope, just fat.

Kids – can’t wait to see the awkward situations you’re sure to get us in… if you’re anything like us, we’ll get some great material to write and laugh about.

We grabbed food after a fun session at Mimi’s and ran over to your other grandparents house to tell them. I told your poppa T that I had a funny app to show him, and showed him a picture of my pregnancy test. He just kept staring at me like it was a joke, and then I showed your grandma J and they both were so excited. Poppa T could not stop hugging me, he is very excited to have his last name carried on. Still trying to get your dad to change his name to mine, but that probably won’t happen. 😉

Having so much trouble focusing at work – it’s time to get back to the daily grind! Can’t look at any videos or photos because I am super excited which = emotional which = crying.

Your dad and I are going on a date night tonight with some of my old coworkers – a comedy show! Hope you love to laugh…
